Refreshing Word, (a ministry of The Fountain), has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the
Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed
to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational
church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to the overemphasis
of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the body of
Christ.
We
believe that God
exists as the Trinity, (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), and is Creator
of all
things. The Bible is the infallible, inerrant, inspired Word of God.
Jesus
Christ is the Son of God, came in the flesh, and born of a virgin. He
walked on
earth, lived a sinless life, was crucified on the cross for the
remission of all sins, He died and was resurrected on the third day by
the Holy Spirit, and
then ascended to the right hand of God. The Holy Spirit lives in and
through
all believers, and empowers us through life with gifts and
manifestations.
